So what's going on in 2022? 

I don't know!

We know that the Canadian real estate market has pushed through the pandemic like our city's snowploughs coming down Whoop Up Drive in tandem after one our southern Alberta blizzards. There's plenty of speculation as to why so many people were buying homes--from 'they had lots of money saved up from not being able to travel' to 'many were working from home and homeschooling and realized they needed more space'.  

According to canadianmortgagetrends.com house prices are expected to rise in 2022 but not as severely as they did in 2021. Tight supply of homes is one good reason for that as there's not as many homeowners who want to sell as there are people who'd like to buy. Bank rates are eventually…
